Please say a prayer

I know that most of my blogs are fun and happy, but this one is serious. My training partner and best friend, Kelly, has been hospitalized. She has taken very ill and we are hoping for the best. She has been having flu-like symptoms this week, only her conditioned worsened in the last few days. She has a round of tests tonight to see what might be wrong. I know she is strong. She will get through this Please say a prayer for my friend.

OMG! It sounds like she has what you had. Did she train w/you in Madison? Maybe you both contracted something up there. Yikes! We'll say a prayer for her!

Thanks for your message. Kelly wasn't with me in Madison, but her symptoms are similar. Right now she is getting the rest she needs.

Jane sent me here. Training partners are better than gold, so prayers it is and will be.

I am part of the BSLT and IMOO crowd as well. It will be my first. Hope to see you there.

She will be in my thoughts. It puts perspective on things - the only thing that REALLY matters in the end is the health and well-being of people we care about. Make sure the doctors explain everything that is going on (sorry, being in the medical field I do know that docs sometimes avoid talking candidly to patients)
Keep her spirits up (I know you will) b/c I do believe in the healing power of laughter and smiles (I think it really does strengthen the immune system or something)
