A Pinkgurugal pretty please!

Won't you help Mason? As an animal lover, I promised a cohort I would post this blog asking for donations. Trust me, these are genuine people who simply want to help their foster dog out

Can you say "Happy Dog?" Well this guy is that and then some!

Mason is a 3 year old Chocolate Lab LOVE BUG whose tail is constantly wagging just so you know how happy he is with the world.

He is in the Southeast Texas Labrador Retriever Rescue program (STLRR http://www.txlabrescue.org/)

Shortly after joining his foster family, his foster parents discovered a lump. They took him to have it checked out, and it turns out it was a Mast Cell Tumor. Luckily, the tumor was completely removed with wide margins and Mason is healing up from his surgery just fine! We fully expect this guy to lead a long, happy life.

But Mason needs to visit the Oncologist for a screening to ensure that the cancer is completely gone. Did you know that specialists are expensive? Please consider donating to Mason's fund.

Mason also needs a home!

We are currently raising funds for Mason's Oncologist visit so that he can move on, find his perfect forever home and live a long life with his new family! He is such a good boy and never complains, even when he has to wear his silly after-surgery cone.

Still, his tail wags and he is HAPPY. He thinks spot lights or reflections are HILARIOUS and highly entertaining -- just check out this video clip and you'll see how much fun chasing a light can be:

He's eager to please, carries a stuffed toy around as though it were the greatest treasure on earth. He is GRATEFUL for everything little thing.

He lives very happily in his foster home with 3 other Labby foster brothers and sisters -- he does great with them and loves to play. He also passed his temperament test at a doggie daycare, and as soon as he is healed up from surgery will get to play with lots of other pups.

He loves people and isn't ashamed to lavish them with kisses and tons of affection. He settles down very nicely in the house and is completely house-trained and crate-trained.

Mason thinks walks are a little bit of heaven, and while he is a bit exuberant on the walk, it is all in good fun and he is working on learning good leash manners. Mason has a beautiful chocolate coat and the sweetest smile around.

This easy boy always has you smiling, thinking "life is good!"

This boy deserves a chance. If you would like to donate to his fund, please visit http://www.txlabrescue.org/. Thank you!

ps: Pinkgurugal wouldn't flinch to take Mason into my home, but I already have two dogs, and Jasper and Ally are a handful!

Cheers and happy training!

Labs rule!! When I was living with my buddies, we had a yellow lab (mine) and black lab (my buddy's). We were missing just the chocolate like Mason! He looks like such a good boy...
